Vegan Smoothies for a Healthier Skin

vegan smoothies

I just wanted to take a break from fried foods, foods high in fat or plain oily. I do not like to cook too much. I try to skip it as much as possible but I just do not like to eat out. I am not a fan of junk food. I know this sounds strange but just my taste buds are not like most people.

I would love and want to become a vegan. It is just too much work, to cook every day. This wish has been a difficult one to achieve yet.

On Sunday, I went grocery shopping and bought a whole bunch of raw vegetables and fruits, to at least make for myself some healthy vegan smoothies to drink in the mornings in replacement of breakfasts. I have so much to do when I wake up, that I rarely even make a sandwich.

So when I came home on Sunday, I washed and chopped lots of fruits and vegetables, refrigerated them for the whole week.

Here are three vegan smoothies I make that I love and these taste delicious!

These are my own creations so they do not have ‘a name’ but you can call them anything you like!

I have a Nutribullet which I have been using for more than 2 years. You can view the product on here

• 1 apple
• 5 strawberries
• 1 banana
• 0.75 cup unsweetened cashew milk
• Half a teaspoon ground flax seeds (optional)

Blend these and voila!

• 1 avocado
• 1 banana
• 4 strawberries
• 0.75 cup unsweetened cashew milk

And the third (if you like a bitter taste like me)

• half a beetroot (you can also wash and use the leaves of beetroot)
• a  handful of spinach
• 1 apple
• a handful of cranberries
• 0.75 cup unsweetened soy milk

If you try one of these, let me know how you like it!
