It takes time to rewire your brain to see the positive in every situation. But it is very possible.
Once you change the way you see things in life, the quality of your life will improve drastically.
Happiness is a journey after all so enjoy your life as much as possible and learn to overcome the little challenges but training your mind to focus on the good rather than the bad.
Here are seven ways to practice positivity
1. You’ve come a long way.
You might have a lot of goals and a long journey ahead, but take time to appreciate how far you’ve come in life. It feels good to see the difference.
2. You are a lot wiser.
Nothing feels better than gaining experience on things which matter to you. The charm of growing up is becoming wise.
3. Practice gratitude
You have a bed, food, a job? It is so much more than what a lot of people have. So learn to appreciate your comfort.
4. Control your reaction
Once you learn how to control your reaction, your life will become much more peaceful. “Life is 10% what happens to us and 10% how we react to it”.
5. Learn to have a ‘me’ time.
Take time to relax. Take a bath, have a glass of wine. Learn to reward yourself and enjoy some solitude to recharge.
6. Practice kindness
Learn to compliment others and be kind to others. Your life will change.
7. Appreciate yourself
You are beautiful, valuable and unique. Learn to love yourself for all that you are.
