Matte Chocolate Makeup Look

I have been a brunette for a really long time now. It is my natural colour but I also have been consistently colouring my hair since getting some greys 🙁

I have been using highlighters so much, I wanted to do a matte look today.

Here are the step-by-step guide and product list I used to get this look.

Skincare: I started with Dr.Brandt Power Dose D for a natural radiance.
I also used Delia Organics Dose of C eye magnify around my eyes.
I used Marula nourishing lip oil on my lips and applied Smashbox 24H shadow primer.

Base:
I used Nyx colour corrector in peach under my eyes and in cream to conceal some of my flaws.
Then I mixed together two of Rimmel’s Stay Matte true ivory with 9-1 BB cream in the medium shade.
I applied it to my face with a damp beauty blender.
Then I used Makeup Forever HD concealer under my eyes.

Eyes:
In this look, I used Tartlette in Bloom sweetheart shade on my eyelids and finished it off with rebel eyeshadow in my crease.
I also applied the sweetheart shade on my lash line. I usually keep my waterline as-is so my eyes look big.
I used Tarte cosmetics sex kitten eyeliner to draw my winged liners and finally used the Gosh lash sculpting mascara to finish the look.
I used Anastasia BH Dipbrow in medium brown to fill in and shape my brows.

Finishing Touches:
I used Nyx Cosmetics Toffee Caramel powder from the contour pro palette to define my cheeks and forehead. I did not use any blush in this look.
Then I finalized the look with Nyx Cosmetics liquid lipstick in Brooklyn Thorn. I love this shade 🙂
